Job SummaryAs a Test & Evaluation (T&E) Engineer, you will support all aspects of radar ground and missile flight test planning and execution. You will collaborate closely with a diverse team, fostering innovation and excellence throughout the process.
Roles and Responsibilities- Requisition of spare parts
- Maintenance schedule development
- Test plan and objectives development
- Test requirements development
- Test documentation preparation & review
- Test resources planning and coordination
- Test scheduling
- Data collection & analysis
- Preparation of reports such as Quick‑Look and final Test Reports
- Briefing test report results
- U.S. citizenship
- 7+ years of T&E experience with Air and Missile Defense (AMD) systems such as PATRIOT, IBCS, and LTAMDS
- Experience supporting or leading radar ground and missile flight test missions
- BS degree or significant work experience supporting AMD systems
- Secret clearance, or the ability to obtain one
- El Paso, Texas based position
- Ability to travel up to 8 weeks per year (typical duration no more than 2 weeks at a time)
- BS Engineering degree
- Experience developing maintenance schedules
- Familiarization with Funds Verification and Use Authorization
- Experience working on ground and/or flight tests:
Test plan designs, Test resource requirements, Test scenarios, Performance analysis, Production qualification testing, Requirements testing, Post‑mission test analysis and reporting - Experience developing and briefing technical material to a broad audience in meetings such as Working Groups, Integrated Product Teams, Technical Interchange Meetings, Peer Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Program Management Reviews, etc.
- Working knowledge of the DoD Army Acquisition process & Test and Evaluation
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
