The THAAD KSA Production Program is looking to staff a unique role in support of the KSA THAAD Depot in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The selected candidate will serve as KSA THAAD Depot Technician and should have firsthand knowledge of the AN/TPY‑2 system. The candidate will assist in developing, testing and integrating an initial KSA THAAD Depot capability, including developing a depot plan, while providing both Quality Assurance (QA) and test and maintenance support.
The selected candidate should have extensive experience operating automatic test systems/computer operation, testing/troubleshooting power electronics, and must be prepared to provide back‑fill and surge support to fielded teams when needed. The selected candidate must have a working knowledge of AN/TPY‑2 spare parts, tools and test equipment.
- Perform radar system equipment inspections and maintenance (daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, semi‑annually, and annually) as needed.
- Maintain all equipment in accordance with applicable Interactive Electronic Technical Manuals (IETMs) and Technical Orders.
- Execute tasks using electrical test equipment, DMMs, power supplies, oscilloscopes, and electronic loads.
- Read, understand and use prescribed electrical schematics.
- Identify potential quality issues early and help prevent their occurrence.
- Develop releasable troubleshooting and repair procedures and validate them with SME support.
- Identify Non‑Conforming Material at inspection for proper disposition.
- Read, interpret and utilize quality policies, procedures, blueprints and other documentation.
- During rotations and surge support, perform AN/TPY‑2 hardware maintenance in motor pool and tactical settings at fielded THAAD radar sites.
- Maintain an active government‑issued Secret Security Clearance and U.S. passport.
- Willingness to forward‑deploy to Saudi Arabia under a Long‑Term International Assignment (MOU).
- U.S. citizenship is required; only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
- Maintain an active Secret Security Clearance and U.S. passport on day one.
- University degree or equivalent experience with a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience (additional experience may be substituted for a degree).
- Completion of the AN/TPY‑2 Systems Fundamentals or Core Conduct course and on‑the‑job training, or U.S. Army THAAD experience, or successful completion of the Raytheon Skill Bridge Program.
- Experience maintaining safe work practices regarding operation and sustainment of electrical power generation equipment.
- Experience with logistics or system maintenance support of technical hardware and/or software in a military or civilian environment.
- Experience reviewing documents and identifying and resolving errors or missing information.
- Demonstrated excellence in past work performance.
- Experience with an Automated Logistics Control System (ALCS) or similar supply and maintenance tracking application.
- Strong technical aptitude.
- Self‑starter – proactive in determining goals and objectives and pursuing the necessary course of action.
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal supervision and handle high‑stress situations well.
