Headquartered in the Pacific Northwest, with 14 offices and growing across the United States, we support and manage complex building automation and controls projects across the country. We seek out candidates from diverse backgrounds who are curious and eager to learn, have excellent communication skills, and who possess an exceptional work ethic and initiative. ATS is committed to employee development and offers an extensive training program and ongoing advancement to all employees.

Our company enjoys remarkable tenure and we take pride in our employees' ability to grow their career and find long-term success at ATS.

The OT Project Engineer provides on-site technical support and engineering ownership for Operational Technology (OT) systems on Critical Facilities projects. This role works closely with ATS project teams, customers, contractors, and other technical partners to support the successful design, implementation, integration, testing, and turnover of OT systems at the project level. They are responsible for applying ATS Critical Facilities engineering standards and best practices to the specific needs of the project.

Responsibilities include supporting OT infrastructure and system integration, coordinating technical requirements across project stakeholders, troubleshooting field issues, maintaining project documentation, and helping ensure systems are implemented consistently and successfully throughout each stage of the project. This is primarily a site-based, project-focused role and serves as a technical resource for OT-related scope throughout project execution. The OT Engineer will also provide feedback to the broader Critical Facilities engineering team to help improve standards, tools, and implementation practices across future projects.

This role is ideal for someone who is technically curious, enjoys hands-on problem solving, and is comfortable working across engineering, IT/OT, controls, and construction teams in an active project environment.

Project Operational Technology (OT) Networking Support:
Provide OT Networking engineering support across Critical Facilities projects. Forecast OT Networking labor requirements and help define project scope and execution plans. Review Network Engineering deliverables for quality and accuracy, including network layouts, IP tables, and server and switch configurations. Provide input on project schedules and identify network-related risks, dependencies, and concerns. Support troubleshooting of OT network infrastructure, including network-level devices, servers, switches, and communications.

Support server and switch configuration, network-specific installation, and other OT Networking activities as needed. Identify opportunities to improve ATS's OT Networking capabilities, tools, and processes.

Technical Standards & Quality:
Review OT Networking device lists and related engineering documentation. Develop and maintain standards and processes for OT Networking design, configuration, installation, and execution. Update Network Engineering standards as new technologies, software, clients, and project requirements are introduced. Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing:
Collaborate across Critical Facilities teams to develop and improve OT Networking best practices. Coordinate with BMS and EPMS technical teams when network-related issues involve systems within their respective scopes. Partner with the CF Training group to develop resources and support training for site and service teams. Provide technical Network Engineering support as needed, with a focus on network infrastructure rather than BMS or EPMS system functionality.

Build and maintain standard OT Networking resources for programming, configuration, installation, and engineering. Incorporate project feedback and lessons learned into standards, tools, and processes.

Strong understanding of data center and Critical Facilities environments. Hands-on experience with network architecture, configuration, technologies, and troubleshooting. Knowledge of OT networking and network integration within building automation environments. Experience supporting network infrastructure in live Critical Facilities and retrofit projects. Ability to consider the broader Critical Facilities program and evaluate how changes may impact projects, teams, and regions. Strong…
