Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and technology sector, is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join their team. As a Mechanical Engineer, you will be part of the Engineering Department supporting manufacturing, quality, and new product development teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and effective communication, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Mechanical Engineer
Pay Range:$70 - $120
What's the Job?- Provide mechanical engineering support for server, rack, chassis, enclosure, and related hardware manufacturing operations.
- Review and interpret mechanical drawings, assembly drawings, specifications, GD&T requirements, and bills of material.
- Troubleshoot mechanical assembly issues involving chassis, brackets, fasteners, rails, heatsinks, fans, cables, connectors, and structural components.
- Investigate fit, form, function, alignment, interference, tolerance, fastening, and assembly-related problems.
- Develop engineering solutions to improve manufacturability, assembly quality, and product reliability.
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering, or a closely related field.
- 2+ years of mechanical or manufacturing engineering experience preferred.
- Experience in electronics manufacturing, server manufacturing, or high-volume manufacturing environments strongly preferred.
- Hands-on production or manufacturing-floor engineering experience preferred.
- Proficiency with CAD software such as Solid Works, Creo, AutoCAD, or similar platforms.
