Traffic Engineering Intern - Summer

Job Description Overview AtkinsRéalis is seeking an ITS & Traffic Engineering Intern – Summer 2027 to join our El Paso, TX office.

• Provide administrative and operations support.
• Responsible for the compilation of data and the preparation of reports.
• Utilize computer software such as CAD (Micro Station and/or AutoCAD) to produce schematics, drawings and design plans.
• Assist with preparation of design plans and traffic signal models.
• Coordinate within organization unit to ensure consistency with policies and procedures.
• Participate in group meetings, both project and organization related.

• No experience is generally required if accepted into an Associate's or Bachelor's degree program in a related technical field.
• Must have completed 60 hours towards a civil engineering degree from an ABET accredited program by the start of the internship (Summer 2027).
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Experience with AutoCAD or Micro Station (preferred).

Expected compensation range is between $25 - $31 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
