Job Description & How to Apply Below
  • Serve as the strategic finance business partner to the VPs of Operations and plant leadership, helping shape how PES Operations continues to adapt to be a world-class organization.
  • Embed finance early in the segment’s most consequential operational decisions — footprint, capacity, sourcing, make-versus-buy, optimal production location, and tariff response — ensuring they are economically sound, risk-aware, and scalable.
  • Lead business-case preparation and financial evaluation for SCOFR, make-versus-buy, and optimal production-location analysis, from options framing through post-decision value tracking.
  • Provide forward-looking analysis, scenario planning, and early-warning indicators to Operations leadership, elevating finance from scorekeeper to co-owner of operational performance.
  • Establish and maintain a world-class Operations finance organization with best-in-class, standardized processes, clear ownership, governance, and version control across the plant network.
  • Improve the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function through automation and modern LEAN and 80/20 principles, eliminating low-value work and reliance on site-specific workarounds.
  • Champion AI and other productivity tools — identifying high-impact use cases across close, forecasting, and productivity/variance analysis — and drive pilots through to adoption, not just proof-of-concept.
  • Attract, develop, coach, and mentor finance talent; build change capability and reusable playbooks that scale beyond a single initiative.
  • Drive global consistency and integrity across Operations finance output, including standard cost rolls and intercompany / transfer pricing.
  • Own a consistent methodology for product costing and manage the year-end standard cost roll-up of new standards.
  • Establish consistent definitions, KPIs, and a single source of operational truth so results are comparable, transparent, and actionable across sites.
  • Lead the development of annual operating budgets and periodic forecasts with a high level of accuracy and clear explanation of assumptions and bridge items from comparison periods.
  • Deploy a standard plant performance framework — forecast accuracy and demand/supply alignment, inventory optimization (levels, turns, E&O), and productivity, absorption, and overhead.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly results and KPI reporting, delivering insight on variance drivers against prior year, forecast, and budget that drives action to improve business results.
  • Drive cost control and cost-out, and operate a closed-loop value-realization process that distinguishes planned vs. realized savings and timing differences vs. true misses — embedding savings in the AOP, forecasts, and run-rate results.
  • Maintain a robust internal control environment, ensuring compliance with US GAAP, Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX), and Corporate policies and procedures.
  • Conduct periodic control and process audits and support internal and external audits — identifying root causes and remediation plans and driving all findings to timely closure (minimize surprises).
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; advanced degree (e.g., MBA) preferred.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience in a global or industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Deep expertise in operations / plant finance, standard and product costing, and intercompany / transfer pricing.
  • Demonstrated success establishing standardized, best-in-class finance processes and leading automation, digital, and AI-enabled transformation.
  • Experience leading financial business cases for footprint, make-versus-buy, capacity, and sourcing decisions.
  • Fluency in Spanish and English — written and verbal (required).
  • Strong working knowledge of ERP systems and modern analytics tools
  • Continuous-improvement mindset grounded in LEAN and Regal Rexnord’s 80/20 principles.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop finance talent and to influence senior operational leaders beyond one’s direct responsibility.
  • Strong command of internal controls, US GAAP, and SOX.
  • Executive presence, with the ability to communicate complex financials clearly to senior leadership at all levels of the organization.
  • Change agent with a high sense of…
