Position Summary
The Operational Finance Analyst plays a pivotal role in supporting the financial health of the organization by conducting analyses, providing insights, and contributing to operational efficiency. This position involves close collaboration with various departments to ensure financial processes align with strategic goals.
- Conduct detailed financial analyses to support decision-making, such as cost-benefit analysis, variance analysis, and scenario modeling.
- Provide insights into key financial metrics and trends.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas for operational improvement and cost optimization.
- Recommend and implement process enhancements to drive efficiency.
- Assist in the development, monitoring, and analysis of budgets.
- Track budget versus actual performance and provide explanations for variances.
- Support the creation of accurate and timely financial forecasts.
- Work with stakeholders to gather relevant data for forecasting purposes.
- Generate regular and ad-hoc financial reports for internal use.
- Ensure reports comply with accounting standards and present information in a clear and actionable format.
- Maintain and analyze financial data from various sources.
- Ensure data accuracy and integrity, identifying and rectifying discrepancies.
- Work closely with departments such as operations, procurement, and sales to understand their financial needs and challenges.

- Assist in the establishment and maintenance of internal financial controls.

Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in financial analysis, operational finance, or related roles.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present findings to non-financial stakeholders.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Familiarity with financial software and ERP systems.
