Job Description
Pro Sidian Seeks a Hazardous Materials Storage & Inventory Control Specialist for the U.S. Army Sustainment Command Hazardous Material Supply Operations (HSMO) Division. This full‑time exempt W‑2 position is working on‑site at Fort Bliss, TX, across the Southwest region supporting Army logistics command hazard material sustainment operations.

Functional Area
for Program Support as a Hazardous Materials Storage & Inventory Control Specialist. The role will manage storage, inventory, and shelf‑life management aligned with NAICS 541330 and Army logistics standards, including receipt, tracking, and compliance with DoD Shelf‑Life Extension Program. Senior‑level oversight, policy advising, performance analysis, audit leadership, and strategic planning are key responsibilities.
- Maintain storage segregation standards, conduct cyclic inventories, monitor shelf life, and reconcile discrepancies.
- Implement DoD Shelf‑Life Extension Program and perform causative research to resolve inventory variances.
- Collaborate with Army sustainment command to support readiness and compliance.
- Work on‑site at the client location: 1741 Marshall Road, Fort Bliss, TX 79916.
- 5‑8 years of inventory management experience; 3+ years in an Army supply environment.
- Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field preferred; equivalent Army logistics experience acceptable.
- Experience with hazardous material receipt, storage, tracking, and shelf‑life programs.
- Inventory control, shelf‑life rotation, compatibility management, audit preparation.
- Analytical thinking, data reconciliation, and compliance discipline.
- Project management methodologies, leadership, time management, interpersonal communication.
