Registered Pharmacy Tech., Relief (In-Patient)
- Facility University Medical Center of El Paso
- Schedule - Shift
- Hours:
Relief - Rotating
Assists pharmacist in the distribution of medication for Inpatient and Outpatient use. Responsibilities include inventory control, narcotic record keeping, TPN calculations and chemotherapeutic medication preparation.
Required Skills- Basic computer literacy and keyboarding/data entry skills.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of and ability to use computer applications.
- Advanced Pharmacy Technician knowledge of pharmacy terminology and procedures.
- A. Work Experience
:
Previous work experience as a Pharmacy Technician preferred. - B. License/Registration/Certification
:
Current registration for Pharmacy Technician with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. IV Certification completed within 3 months of hire. Annual IV Certification. - C. Education and Training
:
High School graduate or equivalent. Graduation from a Pharmacy Technician program preferred.
