Physical Therapist, Full-Time (Rotating)

• Facility University Medical Center of El Paso
• Schedule - Shift - Hours Full Time - Rotating - weekdays and weekends

The Physical Therapist I functions independently and consistently in the delivery of quality care to patients requiring physical therapy in accordance with individual patient needs, physician orders, department policies and procedures, and standards of practice. Evaluates patients, plans and implements treatment programs, and documents all treatment accurately. Works in conjunction with other members of the health care team to ensure patient needs are met.

Educates patients and families. Provides care to patients of varying ages with age related needs.

• Knowledge of physical therapy principles and procedures.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good problem-solving ability in order to determine the best methods to address patient problems.

One year of Physical Therapy experience preferred.

Current license as a Physical Therapist in the state of Texas; or obtained within three months of hire.

Current CPR required.

Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy, or equivalent education if trained outside of U.S. required.
