Audiology Technician - Hearing Conservation

Join our hearing conservation team. Conduct hearing tests and audiometric screening for military service members ensuring hearing readiness for deployment.

• Receive and orient service members for hearing tests
• Explain testing methods and procedures
• Perform otoscopic examinations
• Conduct hearing tests in multi-person sound booth using DOEHRS-HC
• Perform daily function checks and biological calibrations
• Review test results for quality control
• Maintain, clean, and sterilize equipment
• Document all test results in electronic health record
• Restock supplies as needed

• Education:Certificate from occupational hearing conservationist course OR military hearing program training
• Certification:CAOCH certification (Hearing Conservationist) highly desired
• BLS:Current certification required
• Experience:1+ year as audiology technician within last 2 years
• Citizenship:U.S. Citizen

• Schedule:Monday-Friday
• Equipment:DOEHRS-HC system, sound booth testing
• Patient Load:High volume military screening
