Responsibilities

* Provide exceptional patient care and customer-focused service.

* Perform venipuncture on patients of all ages.

* Collect and prepare non-blood specimens.

* Ensure proper specimen processing, labeling, and test ordering.

* Champion safety, compliance, and quality control.

Essential Skills

* High School Diploma or equivalent.

* Previous phlebotomy training or experience.

* Excellent communication skills.

* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

* Basic computer and data entry skills.

Additional

Skills & Qualifications

* 2+ years of laboratory training or experience in specimen collection and processing.

* Certification from the American Society of Phlebotomy Technicians preferred.

* Experience with blood draws, urine samples, stool samples, and other basic medical lab testing.

* Bilingual is a plus but not required.

* Trainable and adaptable.

Work Environment

Work mainly in the mornings, Monday to Friday from 7:00 am to 5:00 pm, with a Saturday shift from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm. The role requires flexibility as schedules may vary weekly, and candidates should be prepared to work Saturdays if needed. The dress code is scrubs of any color with no open-toe shoes. You will be working at the Vista del Sol location, alongside three other phlebotomists, and will be trained on the job.

The position is for 30-35 hours per week, with potential for long-term growth.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of El Paso, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
