Summary: Responsibility for day‑to‑day activities related to recovering organs for transplant, including potential donor referrals, donor evaluation, authorization process, and comprehensive donor management. Activities include knowledge of hospital policies related to donation, identifying key personnel, maintaining participation, and performing initial and surgical recovery elements.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

• Potential donor referrals.
• Donor evaluation.
• Authorization process.
• Comprehensive donor management.
• Knowledge of hospital policies related to donation of all anatomical gifts.
• Identification of key personnel capable of improving participation.
• Maintenance of hospital’s level of participation in facilitating potential organ and tissue donors.
• Performing activities related to initial and surgical recovery elements of the donation process.

Normal office environment; required to use private automobile to meet duties.
