Full Time, Days.
Evaluates, plans, and implements specific treatment programs for individual patients according to the principles and practices of physical therapy. Functions as an interdisciplinary team member providing patient assessment/re-assessment, direct patient care, and individualized care planning/implementation.
Responsibilities- Respond to physician orders for physical therapy.
- Administer and interpret tests and measurements of patients.
- Review patient charts and progress prior to treatment and modify treatment plan accordingly.
- Develop functional goals based on patient and/or family expectations.
- Develop, improve, and restore functional mobility, seeking to return patient to highest level of independence.
- Seek clarification of physician orders as needed.
- Education:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Physical Therapy (required);
Doctorate Physical Therapy (preferred). - Experience:
2 years as a practicing PT in a healthcare setting (preferred). - Certifications:
State licensure; AHA BLS (required).
