The Systems Analyst II and Performance Improvement (PI) Coordinator serves as a functional expert regarding the software capabilities and performance of Radiology and Cardiology Information Systems, Voice Recognition and Scheduling Systems. Serves as secondary support for PACS, including computed radiography, diagnostic and storage systems, clinical workstations, firm digitizers, and interfaces to various Imaging sub-department equipment. Conducts needs assessments specification preparation and assists in Radiology Information System(s), RIS generation for the Department of Diagnostic Imaging Services, related to the procurement of systems.
Organizes and administers the Performance Improvement Council (PIC). Analyzes data, prepares reports, and implements solutions for Performance Improvement.
Three years of experience administering, supporting, or maintaining information systems, databases, business applications, or operational systems.
Experience providing end-user support, system troubleshooting, user training, and application configuration.
Experience creating reports, analyzing data, and maintaining data integrity.
Experience coordinating system implementations, upgrades, testing, or technology-related projects.
License/Registration/CertificationNone
Education and TrainingBachelor's degree in Health Informatics, Information Systems, Radiologic Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
SkillsProven computer application skills to include utilization and support of databases, data manipulation, report generation, and software applications such as Microsoft Office, Crystal Reports and SQL.
