Therapist – Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Seeking a qualified Respiratory Therapist to provide specialized respiratory care in a neonatal and pediatric setting. The therapist will deliver patient-centered treatments and collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal outcomes for vulnerable populations.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to neonatal and pediatric patients, ensuring safety and compliance.
• Monitor patient responses and adjust therapies accordingly, maintaining accurate documentation.
• Operate and troubleshoot respiratory equipment, including ventilators and monitors.
• Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory standards and facility policies, including charting systems.
• Support documentation and communication with relevant stakeholders, including referencing providers.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license or certification required prior to start date.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience working in neonatal and pediatric critical care settings.
• Neonatal and pediatric experience in a Level 4 NICU preferred.
• Proficient in Cerner or related clinical charting systems.
• Demonstrate strong patient care skills, attention to detail, and teamwork orientation.
• Ability to comply with travel and scheduling requirements, including night shift coverage.
