Patient Care Coordinator - $14.00/HOUR or more BOE As a Patient Care Coordinator, you will play an essential role in creating an exceptional patient experience. You will often be the first point of contact for our patients, providing a warm welcome, answering questions, scheduling appointments, and helping ensure the clinic operates efficiently. The ideal candidate is compassionate, professional, highly organized, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities Answer incoming phone calls and assist patients with scheduling appointments. Handle patient questions, concerns, and inquiries in a timely, professional, and compassionate manner. Enter and maintain accurate patient information in electronic medical records. Transcribe and document patient chart notes as needed. Collect patient payments and assist with related administrative processes. Communicate with insurance companies to verify patient benefits and coverage.

Order, organize, and maintain clinic supplies and inventory. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming clinic environment. Assist with general office administration and daily operational tasks. Help coordinate office priorities, personnel-related tasks, and workflow to maximize productivity. Build positive relationships with patients and provide exceptional customer service. Work independently while also collaborating effectively with the clinic team to achieve organizational goals.

Learn and adapt to new technology, systems, and procedures as needed. Qualifications Must be bilingual in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and team members in both languages. Minimum of 3 years of customer service experience required. Previous experience in a healthcare, medical office, or clinic environment is preferred. Ability to multitask and work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong computer skills and the ability to learn electronic medical records systems. Previous experience with electronic medical records is preferred. Strong organizational and time-management skills with excellent attention to detail. Ability to build rapport with patients and provide compassionate, high-quality customer service. Comfortable learning and adapting to new technology and systems. High school diploma or equivalent required.
