** Compensation:** $17.50 – $18.00 per hour Rancho Bellagio Post Acute is seeking a compassionate and energetic Activities Assistant to join our team on a part-time basis for the AM shift. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with seniors and is passionate about enhancing residents’ quality of life through meaningful activities.
** Key Responsibilities
*** Facilitate individual and group activities that meet the functional levels, interests, and cultural or religious preferences of each resident
* Support residents’ individual routines, preferences, and choices while addressing their needs and concerns
* Communicate effectively with the Activity Director, supervisor, and interdisciplinary team as appropriate
* Provide one-on-one and in-room activities for residents who are bed-bound or unable to attend group programs
* Assist residents with activities as needed, adapting programming to cognitive and physical abilities using appropriate support techniques
* Assist in the development, posting, and distribution of activity calendars
* Monitor the environment for safety concerns, including fire hazards, and report issues promptly
* Report housekeeping and maintenance concerns to ensure a safe and comfortable environment
* Maintain activity areas, equipment, and supplies in a clean, organized, and homelike manner
* Perform additional duties as assigned
** Qualifications
* ** Prior experience in a skilled nursing facility is preferred
* Experience as an Activities Aide or Activities Director is a plus
* CPR certification is preferred
* Strong communication, organization, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team
