Health Care Under the direction and supervision of the director, supervises the functions of the team. Assists with or conducts delegated projects, assumes managerial responsibilities including supervision and evaluation of patient care and nursing employees.
Assumes responsibility for clinical resources and coordinates preceptor activities. Assists in development, implementation, and evaluation of unit-specific systems/activities. Which result in organizational improvement and coordinates activities between shifts and clinical areas to ensure continuity of patient care.
Provides clinical patient care to patients within scope of licensure and practice. Utilizes knowledge of professional practice in providing age-appropriate care based on scientific principles, standards of practice, and standards of patient care for patient populations.
Qualifications Work Experience
Three (3) years of experience as a Registered Nurse preferably in a clinic setting or in a charge nurse role.
License/Registration/Certification
Current license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
ACLS & PALS.
Education and Training
Bachelors degree in Nursing
