Loyal Source Government Services is looking for full-time Clinical Psychologist to provide services to military members and their families at William Beaumont Army Medical Center (WBAMC) Fort Bliss.
Job Summary:The Clinical Psychologist will provide psychological evaluations, diagnostic assessments, and evidence-based treatment for patients with behavioral health conditions at a military treatment facility. The Clinical Psychologist will conduct individual and group therapy, develops treatment recommendations, and works within an interdisciplinary healthcare setting to support patient rehabilitation and mental wellness.
Pay:$59.04/hour
Duties:- Practice within the guidelines of their state licensing board, American Psychological Association Ethical Principles and Code of Conduct, and MTF privileges.
- Conduct psychological evaluations utilizing information from clinical interviews, psychological testing, and collateral sources, as appropriate.
- Establish psychiatric diagnoses according to the American Psychiatric Association Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Disorders.
- Provide psychological treatment for individuals and groups; help medical and surgical patients deal with illnesses or injuries.
- Assist in rehabilitation of patients.
- Degree:
Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD). - Education:
Graduate from an American Psychology Association accredited college or university with a doctoral degree in clinical or counseling psychology. Additional training is required for psychology specialties. Refer to the DHA PM 6025.13, vol. 4 for requirements. - Internship/Residency:
Successful completion from an internship in psychology accredited by the American Psychological Association. - Experience:
As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the credentialing instruction. - Licensure:
As required to meet clinical competency requirements specified in the credentialing instruction. - DEA Registration.
