House Aide

Courtyard by Marriott is seeking a dependable, hardworking, and guest-focused House Aide to support our Housekeeping Department. The House Aide plays an essential role in maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of all public areas, assisting Room Attendants, and ensuring guests experience a clean, safe, and welcoming environment throughout the hotel.

Responsibilities include:

• Clean and maintain all public areas, including the lobby, hallways, elevators, restrooms, fitness center, meeting rooms, and other guest areas.
• Restock housekeeping carts, linen closets, and supply rooms with linens, towels, and amenities.
• Deliver requested guest items such as towels, pillows, blankets, cribs, and rollaway beds promptly and professionally.
• Remove trash and soiled linens from guest room floors and public areas.
• Vacuum hallways, clean glass surfaces, dust furniture, and maintain overall cleanliness of common areas.
• Assist Room Attendants with stripping rooms, moving furniture, and completing deep-cleaning projects as assigned.
• Report maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or damaged equipment to the appropriate department.
• Maintain housekeeping equipment and ensure cleaning supplies are stocked and stored properly.
• Follow all Marriott brand standards, hotel policies, and safety procedures.
• Provide courteous and friendly service to guests and respond promptly to guest requests.

Qualifications:

• Previous housekeeping or hotel experience preferred, but not required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Reliable attendance and punctuality.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
