Housekeeping
El Paso, Texas
Housekeepers $ 13.50 per hour 3:00pm to 11:30pm
Responsibilities:
- Keep storage areas and carts well-stocked, clean, and tidy.
- Carry linens, towels, toilet items, and cleaning supplies, using wheeled carts.
- Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas so that health standards are met.
- Clean and sanitize patient rooms, cafeterias, operating rooms.
- Empty wastebaskets, and transport other trash and waste to disposal areas.
- Sweep, scrub, wax, or polish floors, using brooms, mops, or powered scrubbing and waxing machines.
Requirements:
- Must be flexible to work more than one shift to be able to cover others when necessary
- Must be able to work 7-day work week with rotating days off
- Must be able to commit to working every other weekend.
- Must have high school diploma or GED
- Vaccination history card
- Clean background
- Previous work history in a hospital setting preferred but not required
- Must be able to train on first shift hours from 7:00am to 3:30pm before moving to the second shift.
