IT Consultant, Systems Analyst

We are seeking a Service Now Technical Consultant to join our growing Service Now practice area. The ideal candidate will have expertise with the Field Service Management (FSM) module. To be considered for this role you must be a U.S. citizen and willing and able to subscribe to a Public Trust background.
This is a 100% remote opportunity.
As a Service Now Technical Consultant, working remotely, you will be responsible for the successful design, implementation, and ongoing support of Service Now solutions that meet our clients’ business needs. You will work closely with clients to understand their requirements, provide technical guidance, and ensure the seamless integration and optimization of Service Now applications.
What You Will Do Advanced Solution Design and Implementation- Lead the analysis and translation of business requirements into advanced technical specifications and comprehensive Service Now solutions.
- Design, configure, develop, and implement complex Service Now applications and modules, ensuring optimal performance and user satisfaction.
- Perform advanced customization of Service Now applications using JavaScript, Glide Script, and other relevant technologies.
- Integrate Service Now with other enterprise systems and third‑party applications using APIs, web services, and other integration methods.
- Lead and oversee multiple, high‑impact Service Now implementation projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget.
- Provide project leadership, including mentoring junior consultants, managing project risks, and ensuring stakeholder alignment and communication.
- Act as a technical advisor to clients, offering expert guidance and best practices for leveraging Service Now to achieve business goals.
- Provide advanced troubleshooting, support, and optimization for existing Service Now implementations.
- Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, including advanced design specifications, technical guides, and process workflows.
- Ensure adherence to technical standards and best practices across all projects.
- The employee is required to travel to business and customer locations, locally and/or nationally, up to 20%.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience working with Service Now platform.
- Proven experience in designing, developing, and implementing Service Now solutions.
- Proficiency in JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and other web development technologies.
- Strong understanding of Service Now architecture and data model.
- Experience with Service Now integration methods, including REST and SOAP APIs.
- Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
- Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) is required.
- Additional certifications, such as Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) or Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD), are highly desirable.
- Experience with Customer Service Management and CCaaS.
- Experience with CTI and IVR integrations.
- Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Familiarity with additional Service Now products and modules.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms and technologies.
$100,000 - $125,000 a year
