We are currently seeking aJoint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialist to support operations inEl Paso, TX.This position is contingent on contract award, with an expected start dateof October 1, 2026.This is afull-time, CONUSposition requiring an active Secret Level clearance.
As aJoint Operations Center (JOC) Watch Specialist you will support a high-priority Special Operations and Joint Interagency mission in El Paso, Texas. This position serves as a critical member of the operationswatchfloor,maintaining situational awareness, integrating intelligence, coordinating operational activities, and supporting command decision-making in a dynamic, 24/7 mission environment.
Key ResponsibilitiesMonitor classified and unclassified intelligence reporting on Government of Mexico and Cartel activities within Mexico
Proficient with Maven Smart System.
Maintain records of Requests for Information received from subordinate, higher, and adjacent organizations.
Obtains information and creates reports from various sources using a wide range of operational informationtomakeappropriate assessments to pass to the appropriate decision maker.
Maintain metrics databases that track various missions, operational summaries, and other valuable Command updates.
Monitors ongoing operations and application of multiple network systems and data management programs critical to JIATF-CC mission planning and execution.
Both in writing and verbally provide reports to command and higher headquarters asrequiredto provide situational awareness of ongoing operations.
Maintains and secure data on bothNIPRnetandSIPRnetandensurecompliance with policies on levels of classification.
Production of official messages, requirements, and Fragmentary Orders (FRAGOs).
Support the Common Operational Picture (COP) manager integrating all operational command systems.
Education Requirements
- Associatedegreefrom an accredited college or university.
Minimum three (3) years of experience and capabilities within a military setting for the successful execution of tasks associated withspecificduty position/focus area.
Experience in managing a multitude of operations related tasks within a Joint Operations Center.
Experience preparing intelligence reports, operational summaries, or command briefings.
Working knowledge of Intelligence Community directives, intelligence reporting standards, and intelligence tradecraft.
Must have a current and active
DoWSECRETsecurity clearance.
Candidates with the following qualifications will receive elevated consideration:
Experience supporting USSOCOM, USNORTHCOM, Joint Task Forces, Special Mission Units (SMUs), or Joint Interagency organizations.
Experience as a Joint Operations Center Watch Officer, Operations Specialist, ISR Tactical Controller, Intelligence Watch Officer, or Command Center operator.
Familiarity with Maven Smart System and other ISR exploitation tools.
Experience utilizing Open-Source Intelligence (OSINT) platforms and classified intelligence systems.
ISR Tactical Controller (ITC) Certification or equivalent operational ISR experience.
Strong written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing senior military leadership.
Ability to work rotating shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, supporting 24/7 operations.
Up to 10% travelfor Temporary Duty (TDY) by motor vehicle and/or air travelmay be required; some overnight stays possible.
Must have an active passport to support OCONUS travel and/or living requirements.
