• Provide end‑to‑end procurement support from quotation to delivery, including RFI/RFP/RFQ activities, quotation analysis, creation, verification, and editing of purchase orders, contracts, and requisitions.
• Coordinate material and equipment deliveries and assist with the procurement team’s clerical duties.
• Identify, qualify, and contact potential vendors to receive bids or quotes, and recommend alternative vendor options to customers.
• Provide excellent customer service to Project Management and field personnel.
• Collaborate with customers to establish clear bill of materials with appropriate specifications.
• Expedite supplier shipments, deliveries, and pickups.
• Apply contract pricing and perform cost comparisons using statistical methods and data analysis.
• Utilize FTI PO/ERP systems to complete required tasks, manage inventory levels, and consult on procurement processes.
• Prepare preliminary data analysis to support negotiation preparation and translate negotiation outcomes into supplier agreements/contracts.
• Negotiate and obtain quotes for materials and rental equipment; participate in selective external negotiations and represent procurement to Operations.
• Resolve material/supplier issues proactively, preventing disruption, escalation, or risk to projects.
• Apply functional and technical purchasing knowledge to each transaction.
• Apply Six Sigma and problem‑solving methodologies to improve processes and provide innovative solutions.

• Communicate issues, concerns, delays, and opportunities proactively to stakeholders.
• Escalate issues appropriately and demonstrate problem‑solving skills that preserve relationships.
• Use metrics and analytics to identify adherence to processes and propose improvements.
• Maintain organizational agility, collaboration, and influence across teams.

• Associate’s Degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, or a relevant trade/industry technical program.
• 2‑5 years of purchasing/buying experience in the electrical industry or an equivalent business.
• Proficiency in PC and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Basic knowledge of the electrical construction trade, purchasing procedures, processes, and practices.
• Basic knowledge of ERP systems, Procure‑to‑Pay functionality, and proper process sequences.
• Ability to use statistical methods and data analysis.
• Proficiency in negotiating and obtaining quotes, and translating outcomes into agreements.
• Travel up to 10% with limited periodic travel to different office/jobsite locations.
• Work schedule Monday‑Friday, 7AM–5PM (overtime may be required).
