Compensation: $17.00 per hour.

The Customs Entry Writer is responsible for ensuring compliance with customs regulations and facilitating the smooth import and export of goods for the company. This role collaborates closely with clients, government agencies, and internal stakeholders to prepare accurate customs entry documents. Reports to the GTC Trade Data Manager.

• Prepare and submit accurate customs entry forms (e.g., Entry Summary, Shipment Summary).
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of applicable customs regulations, tariff classifications, and trade agreements.
• Coordinate with freight forwarders and shipping lines to resolve documentation issues.
• Ensure timely filing to avoid penalties and delays.
• Assist internal teams with trade compliance inquiries and audit preparations.

• Bachelor's degree in International Trade, Logistics, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Previous experience as a customs entry writer or in a trade compliance role.
• Strong understanding of U.S. customs regulations and free trade agreements.
• Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
• Proficiency with customs filing systems and spreadsheets.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
