JOB SUMMARYReporting to the Warehouse Supervisor, this position is responsible for physical handling and coordination relating to freight in an efficient and safe manner. Must have experience using a forklift.
KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Follow all work and safety rules
- Repack damaged freight
- Perform monthly inventory and physically count and verify piece counts
- Coordinate UPS pick-ups
- Complete a monthly inventory log on storage accounts
- Build consolidations and create manifest for shipments moving northbound
- Check goods for damages, confirm piece count, review documentation, and sign for goods received
- Weigh and dimensionalize freight (UPS and airfreight)
- Load/unload trailers and trucks daily
- Other duties as assigned
- Ability to lift a maximum of 40 lbs.
- Proper loading and trailer weight distribution
- Proper lifting techniques
- Ability to stage freight, plan loads, and load/off-load trailers
- Hazardous material knowledge
- Knowledge of basic shipping requirements
- Ability to use a pallet jack and a hand cart
- Certified forklift driver
1 year of experience

Base salary is one component of our total rewards package which also includes incentive opportunities, benefits, and professional development. Salary ranges are established by location and reflect relevant factors such as skills, experience, and market conditions. The good-faith salary range for this position is $14.48 - $22.36 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on these factors and may vary accordingly.
