Engineering​/Technical - Field Service Planner

Downstream Planner

Location:

El Paso, TX on site M- F

Contract:

6 months (strong possible extension) Interviews:
Teams video conference interviews Possible face to face 2nd round

Job Responsibilities:

• Planning
• Work daily MRP exception messages
• Manage flow of material between supplier and plant
• Ensure materials are available for production
• Meet the targets on days of inventory
• Expedite Purchase Order with supplier
• Crisis shortage provide priority to the supplier
• Monthly review of vendor forecast
• Review Open order report with supplier
• Update in SAP purchase orders due dates
• Review and adjust MRP planning parameters such as safety stock, minimum lot sizes, rounding values, pallet quantities, lead times, lot sizing procedures, etc.
• Quarterly review of the replenishment strategy Kanban, ROP or MRP
• Interfaces with MPS Planners and Production Scheduler

Qualifications/Education/

Experience:

• Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ERP / SAP, production scheduling, and inventory management
• Experience working with SAP desirable
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Technical / analytical / problem-solving skills
• Solid background in materials management / methodology
• Adept at thinking on your feet, problem resolution, providing direction to multiple groups, resolving conflict, improving efficiencies, continuous improvement
