JOB DESCRIPTION:

The Maintenance Staff is responsible for ensuring that the resort and event center are well-maintained, safe, and functional at all times. This includes performing daily pool cleaning, routine inspections, repairs, and upkeep of the property, as well as maintaining tools and equipment. The role requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

PAY / GRADE LEVEL:
Hourly/ Non-Exempt

• Complete assigned work orders for general repairs and maintenance throughout the resort and event center.
• Perform daily cleaning and maintenance of the pool, ensuring that it meets all health and safety standards.
• Conduct systematic checks and inspections of facilities, equipment, and systems to identify and address potential issues.
• Perform a variety of repairs and maintenance tasks, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical work.
• Ensure tools, work spaces, and equipment are kept in safe and organized conditions.
• Clean and maintain the resort’s event center and public areas, ensuring cleanliness and operational efficiency.
• Document all completed work, including repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Perform other duties as assigned, requested, or deemed necessary by management.

• Work is typically performed in the resort. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. The work involves a majority of standing, bending, stooping, twisting, climbing and some lifting up to 50 lbs.

• Previous experience in maintenance, repair work, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate and maintain tools and equipment safely.
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
• Knowledge of safety procedures and best practices.
• Flexible and willing to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
