Custodian​/Janitor

maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and general safety of the facility, including the restrooms. He or she works with a minimum of supervision to ensure his or her assigned areas are maintained in a sanitary, orderly, and attractive condition by performing various tasks using the necessary equipment and supplies. The custodian will perform such duties as daily mopping, vacuuming, cleaning restrooms, spot-cleaning, window cleaning, taking out the trash, wiping surfaces, etc.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and at least one year of custodial/janitorial experience that includes knowledge of basic cleaning supplies and equipment. He or she must have the physical ability to perform all aspects of this job (lifting, standing, bending, etc.), must be reliable and trustworthy, and must pay attention to detail and take pride in his or her work.

They should be able to stay on task with limited supervision and check in with managers when daily tasks are completed.

Full Time. Bilingual preferred.

This position requires a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and the ability to lift 30 lbs.

• Cleans daily all assigned rooms, halls, and other areas
• Cleans and sanitizes restrooms/bathrooms using established practices and procedures
• Refinishes hard surface floors and cleans carpeted areas as scheduled or needed
• Maintains clean, organized work areas and securely stores equipment and supplies
