Realty Project Coach

Position Summary

As a Realty Project Coach, you will join our Realty Execution team for Walmart US. You will take ownership of delivering store remodels, new stores, and special projects across the US, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and meet our top‑notch quality standards. In this role you will partner with store team leads to supervise hourly team members, handle escalations, and collaborate with store leadership to keep everything on track.

You will travel frequently to projects across the US, with the potential to be away from home 80% of the time.

• Influencing Others:
  Motivate your team to meet timelines and deliverables. Encourage collaboration and teamwork among associates, and resolve concerns with store leadership, suppliers, and associates.
• Project Ownership:
  Own the execution of projects in your assigned stores, communicating plans, changes, and obstacles to key stakeholders while minimizing impact on store operations.
• Develop Associates:
  Provide supervision and development opportunities for your team. Listen to ideas, evaluate talent, train and mentor, provide recognition, and identify career paths for associates.

• Demonstrated knowledge of construction remodels, project management, space management, and/or store design.
• Experience leading people, projects, initiatives, or cross‑functional teams.

Primarily working overnight shifts (10‑12 hours). Frequent travel up to 1,000 miles is a role requirement; expect to be away from home 80% of the time or for 17‑21 days at a time. Mileage will be reimbursed, and overnight stays will be paid for RPC roles.

The annual salary range is $60,000 – $110,000, plus performance‑based bonuses and potential stock options.

• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field and 1 year of experience in project management, space management, store design, operations, data analysis, or related area, OR 3 years of experience in the same areas.
• Associates must attend and complete all required trainings and assessments.

• Master’s degree in Business or related field.
• 1 year’s experience leading cross‑functional teams.
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification.

• Have reliable transportation.
• Provide supervision, training, mentorship, and recognition for associates, ensuring diversity awareness.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, support the Open‑Door Policy, and guide application of ethics and integrity.
• Support business solutions by building relationships, identifying needs, and adapting to demands and organizational changes.

Additional compensation may include annual or quarterly performance bonuses and stock options.
