This position is located at the Department of Family, Morale and Welfare on Fort Bliss.
Incentives and Bonuses- Incentives will not be paid.
- The BO Officer manages and directs multiple business and revenue-generating programs including food and beverage operations, golf, bowling, lodging, recreation, and related enterprises to ensure mission objectives and financial goals are achieved.
- The incumbent develops, implements, and monitors business plans, budgets, and operating procedures to ensure regulatory compliance, fiscal accountability, and operational efficiency across all assigned programs.
- The Business Operations Officer provides expert guidance and analysis to leadership through business case studies, performance reviews, and long‑range planning, ensuring programs align with strategic MWR and installation objectives.
- The incumbent coordinates with IMCOM HQ and other MWR divisions to ensure cohesive program delivery, appropriate resource allocation, and the consistent application of policies and standards throughout the organization.
- The Business Operations Officer exercises full supervisory responsibilities for assigned staff, promoting professional development, accountability, and continuous improvement to achieve excellence in customer service and business performance.
- Direct Deposit and Social Security Card is required.
- Meet qualification/eligibility/background requirements for this position.
- A one-year probationary period may be required.
- Satisfactorily complete an employment verification (E-Verify) check.
- Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre‑employment checks in accordance with AR 215‑3, para.
2 to include a Tier 1 background investigation. - Required to file a Confidential Statement of Affiliations and Financial Interest in accordance with requirements of DODD 5500.7 Joint Ethnic Regulation.
- Incumbent is required to submit a Financial Disclosure Statement, OGE‑450, Executive Branch Personnel Confidential Financial Disclosure Report upon entering the position and annually.
- Work typical Monday thru Friday with occasional nights and weekends.
