YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY
The Site Superintendent is responsible for overseeing the efforts of all subcontractors in a specific area. The Site Superintendent communicates regularly with the Superintendent and Subcontractor Divisions regarding projects, project timelines, project starts, and required staffing.
WHAT YOU'LL DO- Meet with the Superintendent and subcontractors to coordinate standardization of processes and resolve mutual concerns.
- Work with the Superintendent and Project Manager to establish new hiring processes and procedures for field personnel.
- Assist in scheduling and coordination of material shipments to the job site.
- Oversee and ensure that all projects in the specific area are completed on schedule.
- Oversee the Safety Program and assure that all safety standards are met and maintained.
- Ensure that field staff comply with government regulations and contract documents.
- Assist the Superintendent’s field staffing to meet or exceed project timelines and budgets in conjunction with the Director of Production.
- Coordinate with the Tools/Equipment Manager regarding tools and inventory needed for projects.
- Manage the production and field staffing team for a specific area, directing, coordinating, and evaluating the field staff.
- Assist in interviewing, hiring, and training field staff and support staff.
- Develop training programs for field staffing to ensure company excellence.
- Conduct area production and field staff meetings when required.
- Handle payroll and production tracking.
- Other duties may be assigned based on the position’s role within the business unit.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong persuasive and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to identify and meet customer needs, expectations, and requirements.
- Expertise in commercial electrical field management, design, and contracting.
- A self‑starter who is a problem‑solver.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks under time constraints.
- Ability to solve practical problems in situations with limited standardization.
- Familiarity with team‑building techniques.
- Proficient in using a computer and Microsoft Office;
Oracle preferred. - Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks, changing priorities as necessary.
- Ability to work under time pressure and adapt to changing requirements with a positive attitude.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Self‑motivated, proactive, and an effective team player.
- Ability to interact effectively and professionally with all levels of employees, vendors, clients, and others.
- Minimum of 2 years’ supervisory experience in a similar facility, construction technology, methods and equipment, tools, and work procedures.
- Combination of education, training, and relevant experience.
- Travel up to 25% of the time.
- General work environment includes sitting for long periods, standing, walking, typing, carrying, pushing, and bending. Work is conducted primarily indoors with varying environmental conditions such as fluorescent lighting and air conditioning.
- Noise level is usually low to medium; it can be loud on the job site.

- Occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs.
