Job Overview

This position reports to the Vice President of Growth & Service Operations. As a Branch Manager, the primary objective is to cultivate an environment that fosters exceptional world‑class service for our Credit Union members. The role involves leading and inspiring a team within a branch setting to effectively address the financial needs of the community and to train staff in the seamless utilization of digital channels and services.

Pay Range: $65,927.00 - $98,891.00

Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic recruitment, coaching, and development of a dedicated team, fostering a work culture that prioritizes strong work ethic and contributes to branch success and achievement of production goals.
  • Infuse a sense of enjoyment into the workplace while guiding a team of enthusiastic learners, creative problem solvers, and collaborative team players.
  • Assist with outside marketing and promotional activities for members and potential members through business development, financial presentations, trade shows, and local events.
  • Monitor that omnichannel vision and strategy align with organizational goals.
  • Provide leadership and assistance to team members through effective objective setting, delegation, communication, coaching, and recognition; conduct regular team meetings and daily huddles.
  • Review branch performance and discuss areas needing improvement, developing plans to implement change.
  • Stay current with trends and operational innovations relevant to branch operations and organizational strategies, conducting regular meetings with branch leads.
  • Develop and implement operational plans, policies, procedures, and strategic objective goals.
  • Maintain active communication with management regarding significant problems and concerns and assist branch personnel with daily needs.
  • Continuously improve member experience and increase overall service satisfaction.
  • Oversee all member interactions at the branch; serve as a resource for team members and promote cross‑selling efforts.
  • Act as an ambassador of the credit union, constantly improving service and delivery systems while adapting to business changes and participating in credit union activities that advocate the credit union movement and Raiz’s values on a national stage.
  • Provide member education by empowering mentors, guiding members, and directing them to trusted experts.
  • Discover member goals and identify needs, assisting members with complex topics to empower informed financial decisions.
  • Comply with all Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) rules and regulations, Customer Identification Program (CIP), and required training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned or identified.
Key Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, management or related field.
  • Five years of financial experience and three years of branch operations; five years of management experience, including at least one year managing through subordinate supervisors.
  • Obtain a FiCEP Certified Credit Union Financial Counselor (CCUFC) certification within twelve (12) months of start date and maintain recertification as needed.
  • Experience leading a diverse and complex operational environment while using good judgment to make sound decisions.
  • Experience supervising, leading, training, and developing staff to achieve individual and organizational goals.
  • Knowledge and auditing of applicable federal regulations governing consumer lending, credit cards, mortgage, equity loans, savings and checking to fulfill NCUA’s requirements.
  • Knowledge of retail banking industry best practices, industry concepts, related laws and regulations.
