Location, Compensation, and Work Hours

Location:

540A; 9 Butterfield Trail Blvd, Suite A, El Paso, TX 79906. Pay:
Competitive and up to $2,500 in performance bonuses.

Hours:

Monday–Friday 7:00 a.m.–4:00 p.m., occasional Saturday 7:00 a.m.–11:00 a.m.

Operations Supervisor directs and coordinates activities involved in procuring products for sales and distribution. Directs daily supervisory duties, monitors orders, inventory, safety, and staff training.

• Review open sales orders, purchase orders, vendor claims, and transfers
• Confere with regional buyers and vendors for product or service information (price, availability, delivery schedule)
• Oversee inventory, control stock‑outs, and reduce excessive inventory
• Perform administrative activities for warehouse operations and inventory shrink prevention (cycle counts, freight bills/expenses, accounts payable discrepancies)
• Train and enforce compliance with company, government, and customer policies, procedures, and regulations
• Ensure efficient receipt and storage of merchandise and maintain required records
• Supervise routing, loading, and preparation of orders for shipment and delivery per customer instructions
• Maintain required documents for safety, security, and quality processes
• Oversee branch safety programs and direct safety activities
• Discuss defective or unacceptable goods/services with inspection/quality control personnel, vendors, or others to determine source and take corrective action
• Review and analyze reports, communicate results to management, and collaborate on new policies, procedures, and methods to improve operational efficiency
• Operate within budget and meet delivery time requirements
• Support sales staff in meeting sales objectives
• Use technologies such as Prelude and other distribution and office software
• Follow company policies and procedures
• Perform other non‑essential job duties as assigned

• High school diploma or GED, or one year of experience in a similar position, or equivalent combination of education and experience
• 1–3 years of operations experience in industrial distribution or warehouse environment preferred
• Experience overseeing operations responsibility for $5–10million wholesale warehouse type facility
• Experience supervising a team
• Computer skills including MS Office and inventory management software
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Knowledge of industrial product lines such as pool and spa equipment, chemicals, construction materials, plumbing supplies, electrical supplies, HVAC supplies, auto parts, irrigation supplies, or similar industrial tangible goods helpful
• Must be 18years of age or older to apply
