On Call Drawings Helper

WSP is currently initiating a search for an On Call Drawings Helper in El Paso, TX. The selected candidate will be on-site at our client's facility performing hard copy drawing digitization and cataloging services. Be involved in projects with our Earth & Environment Mechanical and Piping Team and be a part of a growing organization that meets our client’s objectives and solves their challenges.

This position is subject to and contingent upon WSP award of work.

• Under general supervision, performs project work that assists the Engineering Drawing Vault Digitization project.
• Provide on-site assembly assistance for the assembly of the photo-copying table.
• Provide photo-copying services for the Refinery division drawings.
• Title Block data entry services for the Refinery division drawings.
• Rolodex card data entry services for the complete Rolodex card set.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Exercise responsible and ethical decision‑making regarding company funds, resources and conduct, and adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and related policies and procedures.
• Perform additional responsibilities as required by business needs.

• High School Diploma.
• 0‑2 years’ experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft SharePoint.
• The ability to perform repetitive tasks independently for extended periods.
• A mobile device capable of communication via phone calls or text messages.
• The ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• The ability to commute to work daily.
• Highly accurate and detail oriented.
• Demonstrates initiative, organizational skills and ability to work well under pressure.
• Demonstrates ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
• Must be able to demonstrate our core values of honesty, fairness, respect, trust, and integrity.
• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety‑related instructions and procedures given in English.

• Ability to work schedules conducive to project‑specific requirements that may extend beyond the typical workweek.

• Current college/university enrollment, working towards BS in Mechanical Engineering, Junior or above.
