The Technician I (Production, Assembly, QV Solar Panels) is responsible for performing assembly and production tasks in support of satellite system manufacturing. This role requires attention to detail, the ability to follow standardized work instructions, and a commitment to safety, quality, and productivity.

Hourly: $22‑25.30 - DOE premium.

• Monday–Thursday, 6:00 pm–4:00 am (4x10 schedule)

Same‑day, round‑trip travel experience to Midland, TX is offered to qualified candidates. The visit includes a guided walkthrough of the production and manufacturing environment, an opportunity to observe harness assembly, testing, and quality processes, meetings with members of the production, engineering, and leadership teams, learning about day‑to‑day responsibilities and expectations, on‑site (spot) interviews with hiring managers, and an overview of relocation support and living arrangements in Midland.

This visit allows candidates to see how their current skills—especially in automotive, production, assembly or manufacturing—translate into this role, experience the work environment before committing, engage directly with hiring leaders, and potentially move forward faster in the hiring process.

• Temporary lodging support (up to $5,000 for the first 3 months)

• Assemble satellite subcomponents and production parts in accordance with work instructions and engineering specifications
• Sort, stage, and organize materials on tables, racks, or bins
• Use hand tools, fixtures, and measuring/test equipment to complete assembly tasks
• Clean, package, and prepare completed assemblies for storage or shipment
• Pack, seal, label, and move materials and finished goods as required
• Handle small parts and components requiring manual dexterity

• Follow standardized procedures to ensure product quality and consistency

• Report defects, discrepancies, or process issues to supervision

• Follow all safety policies and procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE)
