Lead Assembler

Responsibilities

• Responsible for understanding customer demands and meet their requests/expectations by fulfilling daily orders as required.
• Assist in the planning of personnel and material needed of the optimal operation of the department.
• Maintain proactive communication with external and internal partners (Juarez) to complete daily customer orders on time.
• Ability to obtain and understand daily production reports.
• Capable of reading drawings to ensure a high-quality finished product.
• Responsible to ensure discipline and follow the process to apply corrective action according to company rules in partnership with the production supervisor.
• Provide team with general guidance on various topics to include safety, company policies, procedures, etc. during daily meetings, ensuring employees remain engaged and confirming understanding of the topics presented
• Oversee the training of new and existing team members in role duties and safety rule/topics.
• Provide support to team members on daily operations and any situations that may arise during the work shift.
• Maintain positive and ongoing communication with the production supervisor in your designated area and other areas to ensure proper working relationships.
• Other duties as assigned upon production supervisor request and business needs.

• Maintain an acceptable attendance and discipline record in accordance with company policy.
• Work extended hours to be able to be ready for the start of daily production (at least 1 hour before and / or 1 hour after regular schedule or OT, as required by production demands and at the discretion of production supervisor)
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and frustration tolerance
• Computer knowledge in AS400, Microsoft Products (excel, word, outlook, PowerPoint) Mac Pac
• Calculate Basic Math
• Ability to work in a team environment and demonstrate respect towards others.
• Personnel administration organizational, strategic vision
• Knowledge of the production sheet and of models 350, 300.
• Must be able to comminate communicate by e‑mail professionally and in a positive manner.
• Must be able to lift 40-50 pounds.
• Must be able to go up and down stairs safely when necessary.

High School Diploma and / or equivalent
