Material Handler D- Shift

• Operate various powered industrial trucks to pick customer orders and convey orders to packing station or shipping area.
• Perform a variety of warehouse duties such as pull/assemble customer orders, check outbound orders for accuracy/completeness, inventory stock checks, restock and label vendor product, maintain displays (tools, caulk, etc.), move, store, and replenish material, and conduct daily cycle counts.
• Perform receiving duties such as receive and unload inbound material, process inbound shipments, stock material, process customer returns and notify management of damaged shipments for freight claims.
• Perform activities such as cutting lumber, building A-frames, building I-beams.
• Operate forklift equipment and overhead cranes.
• Maintain clean and organized facility by sweeping, trash removal, restroom, and general office maintenance.
• Maintain a safe working environment by obeying all safety rules as outlined in the Safety Program and by reporting all accidents, unsafe conditions and acts to Management.
• Perform other related duties as required.

• High School diploma or equivalent experience.
• Certified Sit-Down Forklift Operator.
• 1 year previous warehouse experience preferred.

• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Good record-keeping skills.
• Good listening skills.
• Accurate measurement capability.
• Basic English understanding and speaking ability.
• Ability to work in a safe and conscientious manner.
• Must be Dal-Tile certified to operate powered industrial trucks.

• Regularly required to stand, use hands, and reach with hands and arms.
• Require walking, stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.
• May be required to sometimes sit, climb, or balance.
• May lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
• Average picks per hour are 25; average weight 40-70 lbs; heavy picks 65% of shift; light picks 35% of shift.
• Requires close vision, peripheral vision, and ability to adjust focus.
• Exposure to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, wide range of temperatures, loud noise levels.
