Position Summary
Operator II is responsible for operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment, ensuring product quality, maintaining production efficiency, and following all safety and operational procedures. This role requires intermediate-level machine operation skills, troubleshooting abilities, and teamwork in a production environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Operate and monitor Wywinn production/manufacturing equipment.
* Perform equipment setup, adjustments, and minor troubleshooting.
* Inspect products to ensure quality standards are met.
* Follow work instructions, SOPs, and safety regulations.
* Maintain accurate production and quality records.
* Assist with preventive maintenance and cleaning of equipment.
* Identify process issues and communicate them to supervisors or maintenance teams.
* Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
* Train or assist new operators when needed.
* Maintain a clean and organized work area.
Qualifications
Education
* High school diploma or GED preferred.
Experience
* 1-3 years of manufacturing or machine operation experience preferred.
* Experience in electronics, assembly, or production environments is a plus.
Skills
* Ability to read and follow written instructions.
* Basic troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude.
* Attention to detail and quality control.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Good communication and teamwork skills.
* Basic computer/data entry skills may be required.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to stand for extended periods.
* Ability to lift up to 25-50 lbs as required.
* Manual dexterity for handling small parts/components.
* Ability to work overtime or shifts when needed.
Work Environment
* Manufacturing/production floor environment.
* Exposure to noise, machinery, and production materials.
* Use of PPE (Personal Protective Equipment) may be required.
