Where You Will Work

Our rod and refining plant in El Paso, Texas, is a key contributor to our manufacturing operations. The refinery has the potential to operate at an annual production capacity of about 900 million pounds of copper cathode. The refinery also produces nickel carbonate, copper telluride and autoclaved slimes material containing gold, silver, platinum and palladium.

• Safely assist with maintenance and repair of equipment and processes in the Milling plant including mills, conveyors, screens and like systems.
• Assist Mechanics with maintenance activities on crushers, overlaying conveyor systems, ball mills, auto mills, screen decks, lube systems, compressors, filter drums, hydraulic filter presses, foundry pumps and lubrication systems.
• Assist with and perform preventative maintenance activities on mill equipment.
• Complete work orders and other maintenance documentation.
• Perform housekeeping duties and work area checks.
• May operate mobile equipment.
• Perform other duties as required.

• Ability to understand and apply verbal and written work and safety-related instructions and procedures given in English.
• Ability to communicate in English with respect to job assignments, job procedures, and applicable safety standards.
• Must have completed academic and practical competencies required (including Line of Progression requirements for internal employees where LOP Exists) and have experience demonstrating the required aptitude. The selected candidate shall demonstrate the ability to apply knowledge and skills while also passing a written assessment where required.

• High School Diploma or GED
• Previous experience demonstrating mechanical aptitude

The estimated pay range for this role is currently $21.00 - $27.00/hour
. This range reflects base salary only and does not include bonus payments, benefits or retirement contributions. Actual base pay is determined by experience, qualifications, skills and other job-related factors. This role is eligible for additional discretionary and incentive payment considerations based on company and individual performance. More details will be shared during the hiring process.
