Planning and Downstream Flow Controller

Planning, work daily MRP exception messages, manage flow of material between supplier and plant, ensure materials are available for production, meet the targets on days of inventory, expedite purchase order with supplier, crisis shortage provide priority to the supplier, monthly review of vendor forecast, review open order report with supplier, update in SAP purchase orders due dates, review and adjust MRP planning parameters such as safety stock, minimum lot sizes, rounding values, pallet quantities, lead times, lot sizing procedures, etc.

Quarterly review of the replenishment strategy Kanban, ROP or MRP, interfaces with MPS Planners and Production Scheduler

Bachelor Degree from an accredited institution in Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Business, experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP), ERP / SAP, production scheduling, and inventory management, experience working with SAP desirable, strong Microsoft Excel skills, technical / analytical / problem-solving skills, solid background in materials management / methodology, adept at thinking on your feet, problem resolution, providing direction to multiple groups, resolving conflict, improving efficiencies, continuous improvement
