Job Shift: Day.

To remove product from conveyor, inspect to customer specifications and hand pack into prescribed carton.

• Make boxes (pack produce).
• Inspect cans or boxes prior to packing, check label placement, and ensure label matches carton.
• Add plastic lids to the plastic lid application (when applicable).
• Tape and palletize finished product.
• Add metal ends to can seamer if necessary (when applicable).
• Operate can depalletizer if necessary (when applicable).
• Add stickers to cases as order production requires (when applicable).
• Perform any activity required by the operator, production lead or production supervisor.
• Carry out all activities related to security and quality of the product.
• Comply with and enforce Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).

• Basic math, reading skills, and good written and oral communication.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.
• Must be willing to work with very little notice upon business needs.
• Able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑learner and able to multi‑task.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be able to cross‑train in other positions including departments.

• Able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs. and 50 lbs. with assistance.
• Must be able to stand, walk, and work in an environment where stooping, twisting, and bending are frequent for up to 10 hrs.

• Able to operate a pallet jack and safely move up to 2000 lbs. of product.
• Sufficient manual dexterity to operate properly.

• Proactive, disciplined and organized.
• Ability to train new packers.
