Operator I
The Operator I is responsible for supporting manufacturing operations by assembling, testing, inspecting, and packaging products according to established work instructions, quality standards, and safety procedures. This position works in a fast-paced production environment and contributes to achieving daily production goals while maintaining high levels of quality and efficiency.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities- Assemble components and products according to detailed work instructions and specifications.
- Perform basic testing, inspection, and verification of products to ensure quality standards are met.
- Operate production equipment, hand tools, and testing devices as required.
- Identify and report defects, equipment malfunctions, or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Maintain accurate production and quality records.
- Package finished products and prepare materials for shipment.
- Follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area in accordance with 5S and company standards.
- Meet daily production targets while maintaining quality expectations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and participate in team meetings as required.
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or production experience preferred but not required.
- Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Basic computer skills preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry up to 25–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements.
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, and twist throughout the shift.
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as needed.
- Manufacturing and production facility environment.
- Exposure to noise, machinery, and production equipment.
- Required use of PPE and adherence to all safety guidelines.
