Position Summary

The Receiving/Material Handler Clerk primarily pulls finished goods from inventory for daily order fulfillment and creates inventory transactions to high accuracy and quality standards. In addition, the Receiving/Material Handler will also receive materials against purchase orders and route materials.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Pull material for customer order/debit memos & prepares them for shipment.
  • Create inventory transactions of location changes for material stocked & pulled.
  • Print daily pick lists for order pulling.
  • Pulls material for orders based on daily, weekly, monthly plan provided by management.
  • Participation in cycle count program to ensure accuracy of inventory.
  • Replenish inventory at stock locations and ensure FIFO and Accuracy is upheld.
  • Monitor inventory levels and trigger low quantities to management & Procurement.
  • Verifies inventory accuracy by auditing inventory and Kanban levels.
  • Assists with material receiving and shipping as necessary.
  • Verifies quality of work by auditing self and others in Warehouse department.
  • Provides feedback to management of inventory issues and quality concerns.
  • Daily guidance of receiving, storing, packing, and shipment of product from both production & incoming purchase orders.
  • Receive materials against purchase orders and route materials.
  • Other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Knowledge & Skills
  • Basic clerical and computer skills required & knowledge of ESD handling practices.
  • Strong Excel, Access, MS Word, Power Point, skills required.
  • Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills.
  • Good analytical skills.
  • Very detail-oriented, accurate and organized.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Able to uphold confidentiality and exercise good time management skills.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Experience:

    Min 2-3 years of Warehouse/Shipping experience.
Working Conditions & Physical Demands
  • Work typically takes place in a shipping environment, and it is requirable to:
  • Able to lift, pull, and maneuver 100-1000 pounds using a pallet jack.
  • Standing – must be able to work on his/her feet for long periods of time.
  • Lifting – must know how & be able to safely lift material up to 60 pounds.
  • Handling – able to safely operate an air powered stapler, pallet jack, and wrap machine.
  • Reaching – supplies for shipping.
  • Carrying - supplies for shipping and shipping products.
  • Walking – to various areas in either building throughout the day.
  • Climbing – must know how to & be able to safely climb up and down ladders with/without material for both pulling and stocking needs.
  • Able to operate a stock picker and pallet jack.
  • Able to operate a forklift and pass forklift in-house safety certification.
  • When necessary, able to tolerate & safely work from heights.
  • Operate a PC, Scanner, and other office equipment.
  • Travel between floors and office buildings may be required.
