This role may involve assignment in Saudi Arabia requiring a Saudi work Visa.

Responsibilities
  • Provide in-depth system knowledge and field experience related to the theory of operation and troubleshooting of Patriot missile system Major End Items (MEIs).
  • Resolve complex electronic and mechanical problems for Patriot missile system MEIs.
  • Functionally verify that MEIs perform to specified standards.
  • Install authorized third echelon modifications and oversee refurbishment and modification processes.
  • Perform depot-level diagnostics, fault isolation, cleanup, and repair of PATRIOT Weapon System MEIs.
  • Conduct all electronic repairs on site with detailed system knowledge, utilizing all available hardware, software, and test equipment.
  • Monitor and supervise subordinates to ensure work meets or exceeds established quality standards.
  • Utilize system diagnostics, built-in test (BITE), software, and external test equipment at organizational, intermediate, and depot levels.
  • Participate in on-the-job training (OJT) programs and assist the section officer in enforcing safety policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Perform other duties and activities as directed.
Required Qualifications
  • Demonstrated 4 years of field maintenance experience troubleshooting, fault isolation, repair, and functional verification of the Patriot Air Defense system or similar electronic systems.
  • Experience using maintenance diagnostics, unit self-tests, BITE, and available test equipment.
  • Ability to perform direct maintenance on the ECS, RS, and LS.
  • Ability to install approved ECPs on equipment.
  • Experience with Department of the Army Modification Work Order (DAMWO) installations, including integration and checkout.
  • Successful completion of a Patriot System Intermediate Maintenance Course for MOS 27X/34S/94S/916A/918D or an equivalent course conducted by the military or the system contractor.
  • Ability to obtain a Saudi Arabia work visa.
  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued SECRET security clearance.
  • U.S. citizenship required.
  • Bachelor’s degree or 4 years of relevant experience; alternatively, high school degree/GED with equivalent experience based on additional years.
  • Certified Patriot System Repairer (94S).
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional five years of Patriot Depot Forward maintenance experience.
  • Experience with Raytheon Quality Control procedures.
  • Experience with Patriot refurbishment, modification, and system integration & checkout (SICO) processes.
  • Experience with Contractor Logistics Support.
  • Comprehensive planning skills, exceptional judgment, and decision-making.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with a focus on active participation across the business.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Project.
  • Experience training team members.
  • Previous experience in International Patriot FMS Programs.
  • Experience living and working in an overseas location.
