Eaton's ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking an Assembler II 1st Shift at our El Paso facility located at 1 Helen of Troy Plaza. The hours are Monday through Friday from 7:00 am to 3:45 pm. The rate for this position is $17.88 per hour. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only.

Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

What you'll do:

The Assembler II is responsible for a broad range of knowledge and skills in assembly, in operations identified as key to the business, where testing, troubleshooting, and strong understanding of the product and process are essential to deliver high-quality and productive results in our assembly line. Assemblers perform correct assembly and accurate testing. Use established power checking procedures and equipment to verify the electrical/mechanical integrity of units assembled.

Perform all assignments within the acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.

Perform the assigned function from oral and/or written instructions, drawings, or other manufacturing information.

Handle materials in accordance with established procedures.

Perform routine maintenance on all plant equipment in area of assignment as required.

Maintain quality standards by inspecting and testing finished products to ensure conformance with specifications and codes.

Maintain expected progress of jobs in area of assignment and communicate problem areas or parts shortages.

Handle all finished products for shipment, call carriers and load materials into carrier's vehicles.

Observe good housekeeping and safety procedures and keep equipment, tools and work area clean and orderly by performing 5-S duties and continued dedication to raising the bar.
