Packaging technicians are responsible for working in the food production line and to ensure that the best quality standards are being met in the packaging of all eagle brand food products. In addition, the Packaging technician will be responsible for running and maintaining packaging department equipment (conveyors, labelers, scales, palletizers, and other related packaging equipment) performing various tasks to set up, operate, monitor, troubleshoot and perform preventive maintenance on assigned machines.
- Completion of a High School Diploma or GED required.
- The ability to communicate and take directions effectively and efficiently in the English language, both verbal and written.
- 1-year of packaging operator experience preferred.
- Proven problem-solving skills with a mechanical understanding of machinery.
- Basic computer and tablet skills, including familiarity with common applications and internet use.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and procedures.
- Experience with GMP's, HACCP, and Food Safety requirements preferred.
