This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on manufacturing project leader who thrives in complex production environments, enjoys working cross-functionally with suppliers and plant operations, and has experience managing process, tooling, capacity, and supplier transition projects.

Important:
This is
NOT an IT Project Manager role.
We are specifically seeking professionals with project management experience in manufacturing, industrial engineering, supply chain, production operations, or plant environments.

What You'll Do:

As a Project Manager, you will lead and support critical initiatives focused on supply chain optimization, supplier transitions, capacity expansion, productivity improvements, and manufacturing process enhancements.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead outsourcing, supplier transition, and productivity projects within long-term supply chain initiatives.
  • Manage manufacturing projects involving:
  • Capacity expansion
  • New tooling implementation
  • Part qualification and validation
  • Supplier-to-supplier transitions
  • Manufacturing process improvements
  • Plant and production line changes
  • Drive initiatives across manufacturing categories including:
  • Stamping
  • Sheet Metal
  • Bus Bar
  • Plastics
  • Die Casting
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, plant leadership, engineering teams, and external suppliers to ensure successful project execution.
  • Support Quality Value Engineering (QVE) and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Track project progress, risks, timelines, and deliverables across multiple sites.
  • Prepare and present weekly status updates, leadership reviews, and A3 reports.
  • Maintain project documentation and reporting within project management systems including JIRA and other enterprise tools.
  • Participate in supplier visits and manufacturing site visits as required.

What We're Looking For:

Required Experience:

  • Project Management experience in a manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations, or supply chain environment.
  • Experience managing projects across multiple manufacturing plants or production facilities.
  • Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, plant operations, and production systems.
  • Experience leading process changes, material changes, equipment/tooling implementation, or production line modifications.
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement, operational excellence, lean manufacturing, or Quality Value Engineering (QVE)-type methodologies.
  • Strong project planning, risk management, stakeholder management, and reporting skills.
  • Experience working with suppliers and cross-functional teams.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bilingual:
    English and Spanish.
  • Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Supply Chain, or related technical background.
  • Ability to work onsite 2 days per week in either:
  • El Paso, TX 79912 (preferred)
  • Mt. Juliet, TN 37122
  • Ability to travel occasionally to manufacturing facilities and suppliers throughout North America and Mexico.

Why Consider This Opportunity?

  • Work on high-visibility manufacturing transformation projects.
  • Support strategic initiatives across multiple North American facilities.
  • Collaborate with global manufacturing, engineering, and supply chain teams.
  • Gain exposure to large-scale supplier transition and productivity programs.
  • Strong likelihood of contract extensions based on historical business needs and project demand.
  • Hybrid work environment offering flexibility while maintaining plant engagement.

If you're a manufacturing-focused Project Manager with experience driving operational improvements, supplier transitions, capacity growth, and industrial engineering initiatives, we'd love to hear from you.
