Transportation contributes to Cardinal Health Operations are responsible for materials handling and product distribution in a distribution or manufacturing environment. Includes warehousing and fulfillment of materials and products, transportation, inventory management as well as demand, supply and manufacturing planning. Transportation is responsible for the movement of materials and products between suppliers, manufacturing, warehousing and the customer. Management of transportation assets and systems to gain greater service, cost efficiency and optimization of processes.

5:00 am to 1:30 pm - Monday through Friday

• 6+ years of experience, preferred
• High School Diploma, GED or technical certification in related field or equivalent experience, preferred

• Takes the lead in effectively applying and teaching new processes and skills in order to accomplish a wide variety of assignments
• Comprehensive knowledge in technical or specialty area
• Ability to apply knowledge beyond own areas of expertise
• Performs the most complex and technically challenging work within area of specialization
• Preempts potential problems and provides effective solutions for team
• Works independently to interpret and apply company procedures to complete work
• Provides guidance to less experienced team members
• May have team leader responsibilities but does not formally supervise

Anticipated hourly range: $19.40 - $25.00 per hour based on experience
